Hi, I'm hoping I post this in the right spot. My company just got Revit MEP 2010, so we're all swimming in new data. Yet it looks like we still have a lot to learn! I've personally never used the program before, so of course I'm picked to create a template. I've got a title block and text, but can't seem to wrap my head around the shared parameters thing. Here is what I've done so far: Create label > click where I want it > Add Parameter > Select a Shared Parameter > Edit > Create > I created a txt file called Shared Parameters > created a new Group > created a new Parameter > named the parameter, choose common for discipline, and text for type > ok > ok > ok > select the new Parameter form the updated category parameters and add it under the lebel parameters > apply and ok > then i load my title block back into my little templete file. After all that, the text is still red and uneditable. I want it to be blue and show up on all my sheets the same. A little help? I appreciate it!

You are completely out of base, WWhub is one of the best and one of the most helpful people here in RC, there is no one like him.
I was looking your profile and you are a member user since Sept. 2009 (3 years), until now you didn't posted NOTHING, your contribute to this community was ZERO.
And BTW, we'll not tolerate that kind of VULGAR language anymore... (the "F" word...).
This is a professional site for professionals and if you aren't one of them GET OUT.
