so I have an existig tag and I would like to add a reference to an existing elevation. I have been looking for any information on this but have been thus far unsuccessful. any suggestions?

You actually need two callouts..... One is the one you have ... the other use reference other view. If all the views ... new and existing are on the same sheet, then you can place one on top of the other ... otherwise - the sheet number inside the box is different so you need two distict call-outs

Thanks WWHub: the elevations are all on the same sheet and I started using the method you described, but I figured there was a better way....guess that I should add that to the wish list.
