Just in case some of you were not qaware of this.. is easier to copy items when you dont use icons: when you select an itme and then use the Ctlr key- u can copy+drag the item. This helps as I have to use the keyboardin another language sometimes- and this avoids the keyboard commands from interfering (something Autodesk may want to work on!!) REVIt should find more ways of creating custom keys... uness its out thee.. and the process is limited to the shortcuts already given?

You can create custom keyboard commands, if that's what the last part of your post meant.
