Hello I´m a new person to the community and a newbie to Revit. Some tables that I use let the chairs under them be visible and some don´t. Obviously I would like the chairs under the table not be visible. I´ve checked the settings, the tabletop is higher than the chair, the visibility-settings are the same and I can´t spot differences in the element properties. The tables came with the Revit and/or came with the finnish localisation set.

Problem solved. i noticed that after editing the table so that the tablotop was visible in plan view, only the symbolic lines of one particular chair-family remained visible through tables. I found a solution for this. I opened the chair -family for editing, in ref-plane i selected the lines and from element properties cleared the "draw in foreground." After this I had to change the visibility -settings of the family in 3d (made it visible in plan view - again). Result: the floor-color from room color-scheme doesn´t show through the table nor the chair. And neither is the chair visible through the table. Yes, I am invinsible!
