Good morning all,

I am wondering, if many of you are having the same problems with Reinforcing Tags as I am.

For us it is an office standard to show on plan bottom bars as dashed and top bars as solid. Also The hook orientation is important, yet revit only shows it one way and does not allow for it to be flipped.

I am wondering if any of you have had to deal with this and if so, how did you deal with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For plan view I edited the family for area reinforcement symbol and made 2 differet types one for top reinforcement where I changed the linetype for the reinforcement to hidden and other for bottom reinforcement

Hakon has not been here since 2010 so I don't believe you will get a response from him/her.

Not to hijack this topic but since we're talking about Reinforcement Tags, is there a way (in Revit 2014) to use a Multi-Rebar Tag as a normal Tag and not with the Dimension object attached? I looked at how the Multi-Rebar Tag is configured in Revit but it doesn't seem to be applicable to a regular Tag. Thanks in advance.
