I have the 'Mastering Revit' book and it is handy, but I use it as a last resort. I find the f1 help a bit more convienent. But CADclips (as mentioned above) are the best tutorials I've come accross. There are a few free ones on the site, and 2 co-workers purchased the full program. They both comment on how excellent it is, and their Revit knowledge has sky-rocketed since they purchased it. Definitely worth the investment.

Ya i agree with everybody else "Master Revit Architecture" is the best title, Introducing Revit Architecture is good but dosent get as involved. I aslo bought this little book called "Creating Revit Family Content" it was cheap and covers everything you need to know about making familes. http://www.amazon.com/Creating-Revit-Family-Content-Jolly/dp/1440453047/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1254583125&sr=8-1

Clube, yes the master revit architecture is only for architecture but the same book is avaliable for structure, i beleive it is called master revit structure, or mep. As far as the family book i mentioned goes, I think it is written around architecture but im sure the same applies for structure, however i do not know for sure cause i havent worked in revit mep or structure.

DG, Autodesk offers certifications in all their software. It is just simply a way of telling a employerr or someone your skill lever of the software because you have past there test. Autodesk offers certifications for each revsion of Revit (eq. 2009, 2010.) There is a associate and a professional certification, you must take the associate exam before you can take the professional, I have not take my professional test yet. You can take the test at most companys that are certified Autodesk retailers, I took mine at a company called Applied Technologies Group. Its a Timed test on the computer and will cost you around a $100 for the associate and a little more for the professional. http://autodesk.starttest.com/ Allen

I see I see. I've been out of the 'certification' loop for a while but it looks good on the resume as you say.

Aubin's Mastering Revit Architecture is the best IMO, but I am curious to check out the family construction book mentioned, sounds useful.

What about the "No Experience Necessary" book? Anyone look at that one?
