I am using REVIT Architecture 2009 and we are having issues with out plan views cutting our windows at incorrect heights.  For some reason when out view range is set to cut through the middle of the window it cuts through it's header and occassionally if we cut it through the header if will show just the window.  Any ideas on what else we can try besides view range/plan regions?  Is there a setting in the component that we may need to check?  Any ideas at all would greatly be appreciated!

It is likely the way the window family is constructed.

If "symbolic" lines were used in the plan view, then those will show whenever the cut plane goes through any part of the window.  There are different categories though of symbolic lines and each of those can be controlled in the visibility graphics of the view.

Open the window family and see if they are there.

Reply with the window family and screen shots if you can't diagnose.
