I had a question regarding the Width parameter for a double door family. Let's say i have a double door with a width of 1830mm, how would I go about to make it so the width number that appears in the schedule is 2-915, to indicate that there is 2 doors with an individual width of 915, instead of the total width of 1830. Any suggestions or work-arounds ? Thanks!

We added a couple of extra columns to our door schedule. One is a Y/N - PAIR and the other is a calculated column which we relable as "DOOR WIDTH" and it is = If PAIR(Width/2,Width) then we turn off the family's Width column.

That sounds like a good idea. However, iam not too familiar with Formulas, but iam trying it out. Now if i get this straight, when I add a fieldtp the schedule, I click : Add Parameter Name it PAIR, leave the Discipline to Common, Type of Parameter Yes/No, leave it at Instance. Now for the DOOR WIDTH, i click on Calculated Value, Set the name to DOOR WIDTH, set Formula, leave discipline to Common, and type as Number, Now when i enter the formula that you said, it gives me an error "Operator not expected: =" I've attached a Screenshot of what i mean. Thanks!

That equal was not part of the formula ... it was telling you that the field equals that. Here is my exact formula: if(PAIR, 0.5 * Width, Width) Note that the Width has to be the same case as the parameter in the door family which it is.

Alright, so i've tried all that. I made sure everything was with the same case. However, now it's giving me the "Inconsistent Units" error. I think it's because PAIR is a YES/NO parameter and the Width is a number paramater, so revit has trouble finding the units. Any solution ?

Yes - You always have to pay attention to units in Revit. The calculated DOOR WIDTH that you are adding has to be a length parameter to match the length parameter Width that is in the family.
