Revit Architecture 2009 I have two barrel vaulted ceilings intersecting at right angles. To create these barrel vaults I made an in-place family for the ceiling that includes the solid and void extrusions for both barrels. I then cut the voids out of the respective solids and it seems to create the proper geometry. However in RCP there are way too many lines showing up. How can I clean up the intersection? I've tried experimenting, it seems the ceiling will cleanup if the vaults are the same width, but once one is a different size, they do not clean up.

Nice roof. How about using the 'linework' tools and just make the unwanted lines 'invisible'. This is a view specific solution and can be done in any view.

Thanks, that's definitly better than masking and using detail lines. Now, here's another twist, the ceiling is a going to be a linear wood panel grill system simular to this from Rulon: http://www.rulonco.com/products/panelgrilles.aspx So to represent this, we are using a line hatch, unfortunately at this intersection, things don't look so good, any ideas?

You could just use detail lines instead of fill patterns?
