Good morning all. I've just been moved onto a new project: a theater renovation. Included in the scope of work is adding a new code-compliant stair to the projector mezzanine. We're using phasing states to show the before-and-after condition of the theater. However, this is my first time using phasing on a Revit project, and I've run into a snag. We're relocating the stair, so the mezzanine floor slab will have to be altered to accomodate (see attached drawings). Is it possible to edit the outline of a floor from one phase to another? Or will I have to draw one floor on the "existing" phase and then draw a whole new floor on the "new construction" phase? Any help is welcome. Thanks a lot!

You can draw the existing and demolished as two different floors. Join them so that there is no join line in the existing phase.
