Hi. I am new to Revit - this week actually, and am trying to do my first drawing. Can anyone tell me why when I place a steel internal door it doesn't place it centrally and clearly the frame is too big for the 90 steel frame wall. Any door I place seems to have the same problem. Why I can't adjust the door to accommodate different wall thicknesses? Grateful for some help Thanks Audrie

It all depends on what door family you are using as to how it behaves. Most of the standard doors included with Revit cut the entire width of the wall and do not show a frame. If you want a frame included with the door that is not the entire width of the wall, you need to find/modify/develop one that works for you. The family explorer on this site is the first place I would look to find a door that meets your needs. HTH Tom
