I know that Revit MEP has allot to be desired in regards to the electrical aspect, but I was wondering if anyone has attempted to actually show in the model actual low voltage wiring. Would it even be possible to show a 1/4" diameter wire/conduit/pipe/etc within the model and show it as low voltage wire from one point to another? A customer of ours is interested in being able to account for these in the model. Can a family be made that could be one continuous piece from one end to the other, going up, around, and down as needed so that when selected, it would show the path of travel and information added to it in regards to what it connect to and from where? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

If you have found out already, best way to do this is to use piping, I have created conduit fittings for a specific pipe type.

Is there a way to make a flexible pipe that can be flexed withn the model? The problem with piping is that each bend is a fitting. I can make 1/4" diameter pipes and fittings, but if I want to make a lengthy run of pipe (wire) as a solid selectable object, with data attached to it, can it be done?
