I have started a views and called them Foundation-A though E, unfortunately they are all independent views. Is there a way to change them to a dependant view under foundation plans? I was hoping to do so that they would appear as a subdirectory under foundation plans, this would clean up the project browser. Then I could start another directory or view called Framing plans and have my different framing plans dependant to framing plans.

Your understanding od dependent views might be incorrect so be careful here. I believe what you want to do is to organize your browser. Look at this thread which was listed below: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=12864 I also suggest that your thourghly read your HELP on dependent views.

i know, i just started working in revit, so let me try again... I have a project which has a lot of simple buildings with in a complex. The project site is split in two, site "a" and site "b", giving each site has it own sets of unique buildings. Keeping with the arch. wishes i have kept the project in tacked and i have linked the arch. project with mine. I started by creating worksets for each building. then i created foundation views one for ea. building, starting with level 1, renaming it and cropping the region to show only the building i am currently working on. I would have like to have started with site "a" with the correct cropped region and visbility graphics and then create a view under duplicate as depentant. this way all the buildings that corresponds to site "a" are under site "a" and the same with site "b". so now what if have is a bunch of buildings and thier individual plans views all over my project browser, if you can imagine it is a bit messy. Is there a way to move or some type of work around so that the buildings unique to ea site appears under the corresponding site, with out redoing what i have already done? Or am i just looking or going in the wrong direction?
