I'm trying to create beams that are tapered, for example, 15" tall at the ends and 24" tall in the middle. Sometimes tapered up and sometimes down. There are several dimensional combinations that are noit always symetrical. Can anyone help me with this. Thank you, Relges

You should be able to create a family for this using the Solid Blend tool. Just give yourself some start and end reference planes and dimension the beam ends with appropriate parameters to be able to vary the size of the beam at the ends or middle.
