Is there a way to create a custom family with lines that are adjustable or stretch to fit needs?? For example a custom view title that can be adjustable to the lenght of the text...like the one that comes set up with the view title. How do I create adjustable lines like that in my revit families.

I'm not sure if you can get that same end grip as with the View Title line, but I have set a dimension parameter that snaps to the endpoint of a line. You can then specify a length in the element's properties. Adjusting the line is a little cumbersome this way, but does what you're after.
