I am using a TTF for my company's project template, and it appears fine on screen, but when I plot to either a plotter, PDF, or DWF, the character spacing and character height is different.  Is there any similar issue other people have had with this, and is there a solution?

I would appreciate any insight.

Thanks,

Peter

I've experienced this same problem in Revit 2010 and 2011 with the Arial font (and other TrueType fonts) printing to any of our 4 printers as well as to our Adobe Pro PDF printer.  In fact, I've experienced two typography problems:

1) in Revit 2010 I've experienced excessive letter-spacing (not kerning) when the font width value is set to anything less than 1.0000

2) in Revit 2011 I've experienced no change in the font width even when the font width value is set to something less than 1.0000

In both cases, the fonts look correct on screen, but incorrect on paper.  Didn't matter if I sent it to PDF first or not.  I have yet to see a solution to either of these problems.
