My first project in Revit Structure and I must be missing some basic concept... I C/M grids, columns & levels from arch file. Received an updated arch (link) file. Did coordination review in my project file, but not all of my structural columns moved with the relocated arch grids, columns and levels. Some instances of column footings disappeared (or were deleted). My foundations did not change elevation to match their level changes. Note: the arch file did not have a level to match my top of foundation (their bottom of precast (but non-structural) wall) & I did not create a unique T/Fdn. level of my own. I suspect that if I had copy monitored their walls, my foundations would have moved with them. Is this a true statement? What should I have done differently? What's the best way to pull this out of the toilet - now? Thanks!
