This may be impossible. I don't know. I'm trying to make a Corrugated Metal wall similar to: http://mayang.com/textures/Metal/images/Corrugated%20Metal/corrugated_metal_warehouse_side_9181157.JPG It's for a warehouse and while three of the sides are Corrugated Metal Siding on CMU (I made a mass for the Metal in those cases), one side is 100% corrugated metal siding from finished floor to underside of roof deck. The problem I'm having is that I can't add a door into it or attach it to the underside of the roof deck without it being an actual wall. I hope this post makes sense, but please ask away if I didn't put this right. Or, even better, if anyone knows what I can do, I'd appreciate it a ton. Thanks

I'm using Revit 2009. I have 2010, but really didn't like it after playing with it for a few days =/

I would use a curtain wall for this. You can then insert curtain wall doors into the wall. You can also create a custom curtain wall panel with the corrugated profile for the other panels. If you had created the wall as a custom family in the wall category rather than a mass you would have been able to put a door in.

Me too, if it was in roofs or slabs it's different but in walls i think i use the Curtain wall panel to do this, instead a create-in-place....

I can't get this to work at all. Everytime I try to make it into a curtainwall, the pattern stretches funny. It will look perfect for one segment and then be completely flat until the final segment. The only way to make it look right, that I can find, is to make the curtain wall the exact size as the original panel. I'm using 2010 full time now =/ any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Attach the lines to the ref. planes and constrain the model, it will work...
