Hi guys, im thinking of going from cad to revit. Basically all I do in cad is create presentation plans and elevations with black varying thickness lines on a white background. I assume this can be done in a high quality manner in revit like cad, and can you also copy it into illustrator to put it into high quality like cad?cheers

Ok thanks, because really all I do at the moment in cad is doing presentation style plans etc. Apart from the BIM revolution i hear about, i want to be able to be able to easilly bring models into max to render.... I plan to start learning revit tomorrow based on the tutorial/help files from autocad and tutorials/help, is the learning curve steep? or is it easy to grasp in say like a week of high intensive work?

cheers

I think you should read the tutorials first then start with something simple....
