I have a pan joist in my building. It tapers a little from top to bottom. Problem is, in framing plan view, I see all four edges of the beam that result from the taper. How can I simplify it to show just two edges like a normal beam? I'd prefer NOT to invisible-line all the unwanted edges out, because I have a lot of them. Thanks!

I don't know what your family is like but you can build families that do not show the model in plan views but show symbollic lines instead. In this case, you would only show one edge (top-bottom?)

Unfortunately, there are no symbolic lines with concrete beams, unlike windows. However, for anyone out there, I found a solution. Edit the profile of the tapered beam. Fillet the corners of the 2 bottom edges. If it doesn't make a sharp corner, Revit won't show those edges in plan. Presto!
