So i am running a bunch of dimension strings and they look fine except a couple of the smaller dimensions are cramped by the text size of the dimension. So i want to add a arrow and bring out the dimension a little. Is there any way to do this in Revit? Or could you suggest an easier way? I'm in Revit 2010

When you select your dimension string, check the box for the "Leader" option in the toolbar. You can move your dimension around, but that will give you an arc and not an arrow. If you really want an arrow, you'll have to uncheck the "Leader" option and insert the arrow as a leader through the Symbol command in the Drafting tab.

Whoa... Just grab the text and move it. Revit will add a small arc from the text to where the next should have been. You can slide text along a dimension and this arc will not happen - only when you move it outside the dimension.
