Hi all,

I have a problem when I start rendering. i never have this before...any advice???..

This is the error:

There is not enough space on drive C: to cretae the temporary file that revit needs .It is recommended that yo exit revit, either free up space on this drive or redefine windows user variable tmp to be a folder on another drive with more space, and restart revit again to help provide optimun performance.

I have 500GB of hard drive and 80% is free..

Regards,

Alberto

A few suggestions.  Have you used anything like cc-cleaner to clean your drive and delete your temporary files?

Did you start the rendering after working awhile in REVIT?   Even though you close windows, not all memory is released.  Restart REVIT andgo immediately to your rendering.

i don't know. 400GB of free disk space should be plenty unless your trying to render one really large file with lots of lights sources and the like.

Tell us what settigns you are using, and post a screen capture of the 3D view (undrendered).  It will help in trying to help.

"I runned the cc-cleaner and that solved the problem.......", you can also try with the "Advanced System care", is more complete and is free as well:

I also created a different Temporary folder in windows explorer and then re-route the path for the TMP. That also works.
Thanks..
