I've been using dual monitors for quite sometime with NO PROBLEMS. Today I upgraded my second monitor to a 24" Widescreen and now it's stacking toolbars exactly like described .. "all the tools specific to that object are stacked in new toolbars under the options, instead of next to it. They are locked so I can't move them". Some more info ... when you select an object it will stack toolbars 6 deep unless you have the toolbars set 6 deep already, then it will just place the add'l tools next in line on the 6th toolbar. This dilemma really makes the widescreen monitor inconvenient to use as i need to dock the toolbars 6 deep - or- have the image on the monitor bounce up and down on every selection which is very inconvenient. It only happens on the second monitor, not on the primary. I've turned opengl off as that fixed other issues. It happens at all resolutions. However it doesn't happen on my std 20" monitor. Are there any fixes for this?

This same issue was happening to me. Go to your monitor properties and check which monitor is set as your primary. Switch your primary to the other monitor. Then try to click on an element again and see if it still stacks your property toolbars. It fixed the problem on ours.
