I have succesfully managed (2) custom profiles to be used as wall parapet caps, one for a self-supporting wall, the other to replace a rectangular top mullion of a curtain wall system....pretty jazzed about that...only one more to go and I'm stuck.

In my last case, I have a structurally hung wall going up past the roof slab, so it has a second kicker wall behind it to form the parapet.  While both walls are typical, and used around the entire building, there spacing between varies.  Is there any way to make the width of the cap parametric in the variables of the wall?  I made an instance parameter called "Coping Width" in the profile family, but it does not come into the wall parameters when I add it as a sweep.

Any ideas?

You will need to create a custom sweep for that.  The parameter that you created should work to adjust the width of the sweep, but it cannot vary in width.

"  I made an instance parameter called "Coping Width" in the profile family, but it does not come into the wall parameters when I add it as a sweep." - No, but if you go to project browser > Families > Profiles you gonna see your profile, pick twice and then in the properties you will see the parameter you create and you can change....
