I am currently trying a work around for not being able to create our own arrowheads. I have created a generic annotation symbol and was hoping to be able to add a leader with no arrowhead to it. All went well, however the leader is not coming off of the insertion point.

Leaders will come off of the grip/drag point, is there a way to affix its location as my leader take off point? Any other ideas/methods to come up with a leader head work around?

Attached is a copy of the family, and also an example of it used in a project w/ a leader.

yea the leader line doesn't cooperate does it.  im not sure there is a solution without using a symbol that is round or diamond shaped. but tryout what i did.  it works if you keep the leader in the one spot

so creating a box around the symbol in a line set to non visable sets the point for where the leader takes off from? the odd thing is that it doesnt seem to correspond with the box location at all (unless I am missing something) how did that work, more importantly how does the leader decide where to take off from?
