Is there a way to make the Door Tags behave like the Window Tags? Without the sequential input so the samy door type has the same Tag number/letter? I am also having difficulties listing curtain wall windows on the window schedule. Because they behave like doors. I have made a seperate schedule for them and deleted the headers and just added them under the Window schedule on the sheet. Is there another way to do this? Furthermore, when grouped/sorted by width the width of the curtain wall does no seem to show up on the schedule. It has to do with the accuracy. My unit settings is set to round up the the nearest 1/4". How can I tell the window schedule to round up as well and group them together? Thanks, Finn.

I have the first question figured out. For those who have the same problem: By editing the Label in the tag family and setting it to "type mark" they will behave like the window tags. Finn.

Even if they are instance tags, doors and windows can have the same number. You will get an error that you can just ignore.

If you don't want to schedule every instance, did you know you can filter your schedule? We added a project parameter to all categories which is "DO NOT SCHEDULE". Then we filter our schedules to exclude all elements with "X" in tyhat parameter (and hide this column in the schedule).
When you do the above, you don't have to "fix" every instance.
