While modeling a house I have noticed the ridge on the primary roof is not centered.  For some unknown reason the bearing height on one side is slightly different than the others.  The beraring walls are diffent types on each side but the settings are the same.  Does anyone know how to center the ridge on the span?

It could be for a number of reasons.  The most likely is that you drew one slope defining edge by picking the wall and the other as a line, causing different springing points.  Another is that the angle of the two slopes is not the same.  Another is that the one edge is set lower than the other when drawing the outline.

im taking a stab at this for you so if it doesn't work say so.  if you go into the sketch of the roof (im assuming you sketched a roof by footprint) select the lines and then go into the element properties.  in there set the offset from roof base to the same number.

Thanks,  I did not think of properties for individual lines of the roof sketch.  They were set with different off-sets.  That was a big help.
