I have a project which is a renovation. There are several existing doors, doors to be demolished and proposed doors. When I created a schedule selecting the "New Construction" Phase it still brings in marks for all the doors in the project. When I go to delete the line on the schedule it prompts that it will delete the door in the model. How can I edit the door schedule to allow me to put only the affected doors in it?

Use your filter ... number the doors in a manner that you can exclude them by filtering is one way of doing this.

We use a misc parameter in our door schedules. We put x for existing doors in that column and filter those out of the schedule. I think WWHub's is a great way to filter them out i think i will try that on an up coming project.

I did stumble on a way to sort the schedule without filters and such. In the "Element Properties" for the schedule in the "Phasing" section you can select which phase to show. So long as you properly set up your model, the existing and demolished doors will be removed from the schedule by selecting "Show New". See attached photo...
