I need to create a schedule or Material T.O that will allow me to apply unit cost to my elements so I can get a estimate from the model. I have tried a material take off but I get too much info. Example the wall are broken into gyp, studs, etc and all have the same unit price attached to it. I tried a schedule but dont get all the items I need the area is not a choice from my available fields. Any suggestions on how I can go about this?

Thanks

Make different schedules for objects. Or make shared parameters that you can assign to all objects that you need to schedule. The problem with these type of question is that you are asking the program to output differnt types of costs. You have unit cost for specific objects like doors, windows, etc. But then you have SF costs for floors, roofs, etc, and then you have LF costs for walls, railings, etc.

I hope that helps you with a little understanding about what to "ask" Revit for.
