im creating a bathroom wall with tile on both sided, because there are two bathrooms that share that wall. However, I do not want the tile to go up past the ceiling, however revit is only allowing me to unlock one side of the wall to adjust its extensions. when i try to unlock both sides it pops up a errer message that says, "Extension Layers at the top of the wall must be adjacent" anybody got any ideas??

I posted on this just a week or two ago ... gotta think out of the box. Don't unlock the exterior skin - unlock all the interio ones. Now make the wall the height of the tile and pull the rest of the wall up. http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=16153 We actually don't include the tile on our walls. We add the tile as a thin veneer wall and join it with the base. This gives you a lot more control and options.

Very Nice Hub, when you say you just add it as a thin veneer to the base, you mean like a wall sweep? or a totally different wall?
