is it possible to create color schedule for element types?

This question is not very clear. Just too broadscope. You can add coarse color to walls and show that ... so I guess the answer is yes.

i applied a filter to the walls so that they have a collor matching to the value of their fire rating properties. what i needed was a small legend like color scheme that represents the color swathes to particular fire rating code and i made this manually in a drafting view, i drafted manually an anotation object to say it that way aslo i had to duplicate the drafting view many times in order to add it to all the sheets where i have walls fire rating not very neat and smart
