Hi, i'm trying to get a shaft to cut through structural elements like beams. I have a shaft in my building. I cut's the floors fine but not the beams. Is there any option to determine what a shaft can cut. ps: i'm working with revit architecture 2010

Remember, REVIT really mimics the real world. If you don't want beams in your shaft area, don't place them there. The shaft tool is used to cut monolitic elements such as floor slabs and roofs.
