Okay... Here's the situation. I would like floor lights, or some sort of uplighting within a body of water. Wondering how to go about doing this. I've tried to play with translucency settings to be able to see the light through the water, but either one of two things happens. 1) The lights will hover on top of the water 2) The lights wont show at all. Ideally I'd like to be able to see just a beam of light or a glow under the water. Is this possible? Thanks for the help

Those lights are omi? spot?.... did you try to increase the "Lumens" (Watts) from those lights?

They are floor lights actually. Meant to uplight onto a wall I imagine. I did try incresing the watts on them as well. Makes the image brighter but doesn't put them underwater. In the picture there is a circular grate material which (I'm assuming) sits flush on the floor. For some reason it wont sit on the lower slab portion. When water is added they "float to the top". Or sit on the bottom and produce no light at all. Has anyone had any experience with this kind of problem at all? P.S. Thanks for the advice Typhoon

"When water is added they "float to the top". Or sit on the bottom and produce no light at all." - when you pick in one of those lights and you go to the properties, you can see (well, depend of the family) an OFFSET parameter, with this you can control the position of the light, (up/down) in this case....
