I've got a MAX (version 2010) NURBS surface I want to import into REVIT 2010 as a Roof. So far I've been able to bring it in using the method of importing the exported DWG file into a revit mass and then using the 'Roof by Face' tool to create my roof. My problem is that my NURBS surface is triangulated when imported into REVIT and these become my selectable faces. So far I've only been able to select about 5-8 faces maximum at a time and making separate roof chunks out of those. If I try to select more faces I get an error message. Is there a way to do this so it is all one smooth roof instead of separate chunks? Any help is most appreciated!

Yeah, this is like a "Wire mesh", convert this in to a "Solid" instead a "Mesh"...

You mean in MAX? Are you saying I should extrude it in some way and add thickness to it? If in CAD, I'm not very familiar with 3D CAD, would you mind telling me how I'd go about doing this?

In Max (you create that in max, right?) convert that Wire mesh in ONE solid...

This is already one solid in MAX, not wiremesh. Originally it was a NURBS surface then I edited it and collapsed my edits so it is currently an 'editable poly'. Here's my MAX file. Do I need to convert it to an editable mesh? It seems like no matter what I convert it to in MAX once I export it to DWG format it still causes the same effect when I import it into REVIT. Could you please clarify?
