I am working on Revit 2009 and am having an issue getting a wall to close correctly. I have a particular wall edge I want to define but it has acute and 90 degree angles which happen within the thickness of the wall. This seems to result in the wall continually being closed in a way that makes no sense. I have attached two images. One shows the desired wall edge before I close the wall and the second shows the resulting wall after connecting all the walls together.

Pick one of the walls. There should be a blue dot on the end of it. Right click on the dot and choose disallow join. This gives you more control for the joining of wall intersections. Once you have the walls in the correct places, use the join geometry command to get them to graphically looks nice.

Thanks!

After a bit of experiementation I was able to use this method to get a cleaner looking join at the wall. I can handle a few extra lines, what was most important was to get the wall perimeter correct!

In case anyone comes across this I used the disallow join command along with locking dimensions to acheive the desired results.

FYI when joining geometry, the order of selection matters. Experiment with choosing 1 wall before another and see how that works.
