Hi Experts I am looking for a smart way of measuring the excavated building pad from my site. Do you have any suggestions of how to do that, in a smart and simple way? Kind Regards McGade

The method to use with building pads is to set the phase of the surface to existing. Then go to graded region in the massing tools and 'Create a new toposurface exactly like the existing one'. The cut or fill of the pad will now be reported. Create a new toposurface schedule to see the cut and fill of all the pads. For more information look at 'Reporting cut and fill volumes on a site' in the help.
