Hi guys,

Im using 2010 and i have two seperate files.  in one of the files i am setting up drawing sheets and want to add some views from the other project.  what is the best way to do this?? 

Ive tried all the export to options but none of them will seem to insert.    please help?  thanks.

Hi, i don't have here the Revit but try this, create a "Drafting View" then in that view go to "Import>Revit file" or "import> revit Views", choose what you want....

Like i told you i don't have revit here right now and i don't have sure about the "real" name for that....

You don't say if this is an image but I will hope it is.  If it is a 3D view, then you need the whole model.

 

If it is a rendered view, save it out of the original file as a jpg and import it.  You can also export 2D or 3D views to CAD and then import those as a 2D detail view.
