The project I am work on is in Revit 2010. We are using Revit Building and we have linked in a Revit Structure model. We keep recieveing warnings that say: Can't edit the element until 'mcuevas' resaves the element to central and relinquishes it and you Reload Latest. 'mcuevas' is working in the structure model. Similarily, the struture team is getting warnings that one of us owns an element. When everyone saves to centeral we still get these warnings. I didn't think this was possible between linked models. Does any one know how this is possible and how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't really tell what you have going on because I don't know what you have done that is right or wrong.  I will say that this doesn't happen when done correctly.

First - you can't edit a linked file so how can it be telling you that someone else has ownership?

Second - I assume you are in the same office.  - It may be something in your file that the other trades person got into and did not do a RL before closing.  Look in your file under worsets ... expand the categories and see if the culprit is listed.  If so, have him open the file / RA and exit.
