Hey All, I was looking to streamline my approach to exporting walls into .DWG and having them come in on a few different layers. Such as 1-Hr Fire Rated Walls, 2-Hr...., 3-Hr.... Smoke Walls.... Etc. Is there any way to use a subcategory on walls? Looking for insight here. Thanks in advance! E-Dub

Sorry - Revit uses categories as part of their export and since all walls are in the same category, I don't see how you can export them to seperate layers..... a walll, is a wall, is a wall...

This should most likely move to the Wish List thread, but how on earth has it gone this long with such limited exporting capabilities? It's so cumbersome to have to include in custom families the use of making subcategories, and you're not even capable of doing this to walls. Kind of rediculous. If anyone knows of a solution to the matter, any kind of workaround (for my future sanity) It'd be very appreciated. Thanks! E-Dub
