I'm trying to teach myself how to make partition types. So far I've figured out how to make a legend and a legend component, but when I go to add detail to the partition type, such as metal framing runners and such I can't "snap" to the line work. I cant even add an fin. flr. line and align the bottom of the partion to it. How do you do this kind of stuff? And how to you lable partition types in the plan? Which tag to you use?

This is something we all compalin about. You can't dimension or snap to anything in a wall legend. Sorry. We sometimes add very small detail lines so that we can dimension our wall legends.
