When using equal size rafters ceiling joists, the upper end corners of the joists poke above the rafter line.  This creates a line that shows up in the roof plan, elevations and 3d views.  How can I trim these corners off?

You can use void space to clip the corner off, or you maybe able to change the offset from the work point

thanks, mbsteve, but correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think void sweeps work on elements like ceilings that aren't model families.  So far, the only way I've found to work around this problem is to move the boundary of the ceiling in from the face of framing far enough that the height of the joist corner is below the top of rafter line.  This work-around doesn't follow framing practice, and requires some clean up in the sections.  Any other ideas?

I was thinking of using the void extrusion on the finished roof where the rafters punch through. Mr. Spot has a tutorial on void extrusions for stairs on curved walls to make the top of the walls follow the steps. I think that it might work. You can also turn off the joists in the elevation views.

The void sweep does work, I just needed to use the cut geometry tool at the correct stage in the process of making the sweep.  Once I positioned the sweep below the roof sheathing line, no residual cut lines show up on the roof.  Thanks for your help.
