Has anyone had any success in setting control or option keys in their hot key schedule? I'm having little luck, It is also something that I think should be already set ie. Cntl C for copy etc. as with all other programs? thanks

The standard hot keys work in Revit - Ctrl C fo copy, Ctrl X for cut, Ctrl V for paste, Ctrl Z for undo, Ctrl Y for redo, Ctrl S - save, Ctrl P - print etc. You can also set up you own keyboard shortcuts for all the commands.

Cheers Tim am still having the problems with setting hotkeys with the Control or Option keys ie Cntl D for move. I am used to keeping my hand at the corner of the keypad and am finding it annoying using combos such as M+V etc as I am finding I have to look down to navigate the keyboard. in the keyboard shortcuts list there is no other comands that show the use of Cntl or Opt keys which I could copy any clues?

There is a list of the standard preset shortcuts in the help under keyboard accelerators, but I don't think that these can be changed. Also note that in the keyboard shortcuts you can overide the preset shortcuts. You can change MV to DD if you wish provided that you don't have two the same. I would suggest that there would be a limit to the amount of commands that you can access by only using the Ctrl and single keys on the left hand side of the keybord, if these could be set. I tend to not override the existing shortcuts as it becomes more difficult to use another computer.

Thanks Tim I agree that changing to many hot keys can make it difficult when it comes to other computers, i'm the only one who uses Revit at my work so not to much of a problem.
