2010 The inserted image only shows as a on outline..the actual image content is missing. Its a jpg,. I tried using another one , didnt work . Any ideas?

Des this only happen in one perticular view in the project? Is so, recreate the view and try that. If it happens in other views, do an audit on the project when you open it.

Are you talking about an inage in a 2D view or a decal? Decal are 3D images and will only show when rendered.
