Im currently doinf some family types which im wanting to schedule and trying to add in a parameter so that when my door is insterted into a wall it recognises the thickness of the wall and therefore will state this when i apply the correct column in the schedule. Ive tried creating a new shared parameter on the wall in my family and called it wall thickness. but when i insert my doors into my model they only show the thickness of what the wall in the family is and i want it to pick up what size wall its sat in in my model sorry if that confusing, cheers if you can help! im abit stuck  Jord

Sorry, but the family can not yet read the wall thickness of the host. It is on the wish list.
