We are working in Revit 2009 and importing details from CAD. We would like to move details from one sheet to another, but I don't see any way of doing this besides deleting the refrence from the sheet then replacing it on the sheet we want it on. Is there a way of telling the detail just to move to another sheet?

I assume you placed these "details" in a drafting view as you should have, not directly onto the sheet. As such, you delete the view on the sheet then open the sheet you want it on and drag the drafting view from your browser onto the sheet like any other view.

You can drag from sheet to sheet, open the sheet that the detail is on and in the browswer drag it to the sheet you want to put it on.
