Hi;

I created a structural system, but it is only visible in 3 D views . How do I make the system in floor plan views and elevation. I go to edit view properties and check the structural bema systems and check the hidden lines. The hidden line and structural system propertion options are hatched pretty much except for projection/surface- lines

thanks

In an elevation view set the view properties to fine.  Also confirm that the depth of the elevation is sufficient to see the beams.  In a plan view, check the view range.  Set it to unlimited for view depth - the beams are by default created so that the top of the beams are at the level they were drawn in, so they may not be visible.  If they are visible as lines, setting the detail level of the view to fine will make them visible.
