hey folks: working in revit 2008 and have a wall mounted 2d toilet that i am trying to intall in a generic wall. the component will mount on other walls but not in the thickest wall. please see the attachement. is there a setting i need to check to make the wall able to accept wall mounted components? i searched through the history but could not find this problem

Did you create the wall as a wall or generic model? If you need to create the wall rather than using the wall functions in Revit, it needs to be in the wall category.

it was the generic wall that is automatically loaded in revit, i did not create the wall.
