I'm having a problem with the wall cleanups. I'm using 2009. I have attached a picture to help. Both walls are stacked walls. I do not want the vertical band of red. All colored CMU bands are to be horizontal and extend to the corner. For whatever reason the vertical band of red shows up when walls are joined. I have tried mitering and re-cleaning up the wall joins...even at different cut elevations. Any suggestions?

try disallowing the joins, then use the Join geometry tool instead. This allows you more control over the exact location of the wall end.
