I have my text notes with 2-segment leaders: first segment with angle and second segment flat. The problem is for some of the text notes, the flat second segment always changes to the same angle of the first segment so they become one straight line. Does anybody know how this happens?

If you adjust notes after placement, you sometimes you have to adjust the leaders as well. Just grab the node and adjust the leader back into a double.

"If you adjust notes after placement, you sometimes you have to adjust the leaders as well. Just grab the node and adjust the leader back into a double." I have been adjusting the nods all the time and they kept changing back.
