When taking RGB settings from an AutoCad colour & using the same RGB settings in Revit i'm getting 2 different shades. Why don't the RGB colour match. Revit also seem to export these colours incorrectly into AutoCAD. Any ideas on how to deal with this? Example: AutoCAD colour '81' R:159 G:255 B:127 use these RGB setting inRevit, not only does the colour appear different on screen it exports into CAD as colour 91.

Chicken - egg - which came first? I doubt either CAD or REVIT have the colors right so I don't think anyone could say one is right and the other is wrong. I know that your CAD color 91 will not match my color 91. Users have been fighting the color problem since the beginning of using CAD. There are no standards! Each platform will be different, each printer will be different. Each program will be different GOOD LUCK!

Yes, but surely there must be an easy way to match colours in Revit & AutoCAD. I'm not looking to find out which one is correct, or a chicken or an egg. i want them both to match. I see no reason for AutoDesk products not to share the same colour system.
